Must-see celebrity cars at Cleveland Auto Show
CLEVELAND, Ohio — There’s no shortage of things to do if you’re not actually in the market for a new car at the 2019 Cleveland Auto Show.
You could check out “Millionaires’ Row” and dream about which car you’ll buy first if you can only find your lost $1.6 billion Mega Millions lottery ticket. Or you can go to the South Hall at the IX Center and wander around and look at the classic cars from your youth (that you wish you still had).
Or, better yet, check out the cool collection of celebrity cars on display. The good folks from the Celebrity Car Museum in Branson, Mo., brought four cars from their awesome collection. Take a look at the 1981 DeLorean from “Back to The Future,” or the 70 Dodge Charger from “Furious 7.”
If you’re an animal lover, you won’t want to miss the Mutts Cutts van from “Dumb and Dumber,” or the “Mystery Machine,” from the Scooby Doo series.
Also on display at the show are a couple of trucks. Optimus Prime from “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” is there, as well as the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Trailboss Lego truck.
The auto show runs through Sunday, March 3 and you can buy tickets online.
The Mystery Machine from the Scooby Doo series on display at the auto show is actually a 1969 Dodge A100 van. In the live-action Scooby Doo movies, the van was a 1980’s Chevrolet van.
The one on display wasn’t actually in the movie, it did however cruise around Universal Studios with characters from the show inside during parades and such.
